Your Perceptions Color Everything You Do – Make Love not War

Make Love not War

Recently I posted a picture (of a man and woman lying on the beach in their bathing suits) Make Love Not Warin a group to promote my tantra coaching. The woman was lying on top of the man and they were kissing. Nothing explicit, just some wonderful affection between two people. I thought it was a beautiful picture.

When I post to a women’s networking group on Facebook, I am very selective with the memes I use. I like to make sure they are pretty photos and that they are not offensive. However, I got a message from a woman saying she was disgusted and that I should be disciplined. I don’t think I have been disciplined for 45+ years.

To be honest,  I was quite surprised. I had about 1000 views on that post and hers was the only complaint.

Make Love Not War What I find offensive is the war machine and we are bombarded with it daily. We are being anesthetized to maiming and killing. Is it possible that real affection is so foreign that we reject it. Many young men get their sex education from porn sites which are not conducive to lasting and nourishing relationships.

Make Love Not War http://countercurrentnews.info/2015/12/russian-syrian-civilians/Our perceptions of what is offensive are programed into us from a very early age. Are your beliefs serving you? This is where Tantra can make a difference in our world today. Wouldn’t you like to see a kinder gentler society where people are making an effort to create a better world?
